Hi!

Hi Dodgen Middle School students and parents! My name is Rachel Bonner and I will be teaching 7th grade Reading this year. I am very excited to be at such a wonderful school and hope to make our classroom a welcoming place for students to thrive.

To start, I would like to tell you a little about myself. My undergraduate degree is in Business Management from Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!), and my masters degree in Education was earned at Georgia State University. This will be my seventh year to teach at the middle school level and I enjoy the new challenges each day, or hour, brings.

I grew up all over the place, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma.... but happily call Georgia home now. My husband and I have a house in Smyrna with our energetic pup, Zuri and sassy cat, Delilah. Our hobbies include being outdoors, traveling, photography, and crafting (sewing for me, wood working for him).
